Arjuna asked Krishna to please drive his chariot in between the two armies so that he could see those who desired to fight. Krishna drew his chariot between the armies and said, “Just behold, Partha (name of Arjuna), all the Kurus assembled here.” Arjuna saw many of his friends and relatives on both sides and he became overwhelmed with compassion.
